I think my favorite Tom Clancy book is Red Storm Rising. It's long but I think it is really good. I've read that and Rainbow Six twice. I was also going to read The Hunt For Red October again but my dad has it somewhere.

Red Storm Rising... i swear ive read that book but i dont remember it. Both Rainbow Six and The Hunt for Red October are great books but id def look into more of Clancys novels as tehy are all excellent. Most of them Tie in with the other books so you might be lost at some point in a book then figure it out in the next book. i used to read some other books then i picked up Rainbow Six and just havent looked back. they are long books but they are great reads.

some asshat decided to pretend he's chuck norris. it seems like he's getting a lot of attention, too.

the real chuck norris would kick this imposter's ass back to the big bang.

as for Tom Clancy, my brother has a library of nearly every book he's written. they're sitting on the shelf, collecting dust. maybe i'll take Rainbow Six for a read sometime later.

mousebreaker.com is also good or you could try and do some homework so you look busy. Don't read though; I used to get in trouble for reading and tuning out the teacher.

The Jack Ryan series is one of the reasons I'm burnt out on reading. I own them all and have read every one of them at least twice. Executive Orders was my favorite. I also like Without Remorse, the origin of John Clark. I was really dissapointed in the Bear and the Dragon. It just seemed like he wrote it in a hurry and it was kind of cliche with his other stuff. Then again, I had just re-read almost all the other books again, so I was probably tired of it all.

Just dug this up from the new EGM:

7% of interviewed male gamers have admited to claiming to be a girl online.
1% of interviewed female gamers have admited to claiming to be a guy online.

They also have some other charts and rather funny material on actual interviews and invotories. I'll dig up the issue from the Porsolin Goddess later if anyone is interested. If I remember right, one story invovles "what are you wearing while you're online?"
